Our Programs
The Success Academy
An educational and therapeutic safety net to prevent juvenile offenders from being committed to the Department of Youth Services. This program includes academic remediation, school credit recovery and therapeutic remediation. Individual and group counseling services are provided to all youth attending the Success Academy.
LINC ID
A celebration of youth leadership. This is an incentives program for youth who lead a drug-free and violence-free lifestyle. Participants who pledge to be drug and alcohol free receive support and benefits from the community.
Empowering parents
Empowering Parents: The Total Transformation is a parent’s program designed for managing challenging behaviors in children. The Total Transformation offers step-by-step practical solutions to give you peace of mind and stop bad behavior for good. Struggling with a child’s behavior difficulties can feel isolating, frustrating and embarrassing for parents. This program will help you with the knowledge you need to transform your child’s behavior. The program is designed to help parents become more effective at teaching their children the problem-solving skills they need in order to make progress in life. In addition to classes, Family Links also offers 24 hour on call support, drug testing and counseling.
WhyTry
The WhyTry Program is a strength-based approach to helping youth overcome their challenges and improve outcomes in the areas of truancy, behavior, and academics. It is based on sound, empirical principles, including Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Social and Emotional Intelligence, and multi-sensory learning. The mission is to help people achieve opportunity, freedom, and self-respect using education and interventions that motivate and create positive change. We offer hope and an answer to the question “Why Try in life?”
