When is the last time your child was caught doing something right?

Research shows that the more time kids spend doing what's right, the less time they have to do things that are wrong. One of the most effective ways to get kids to do the right thing is to catch them and point it out, just like what happens when kids are caught doing something wrong.

That's the theory behind the "Gotcha!" Program. AmeriCorps Members spend time in classrooms in Anniston City Schools and catch kids behaving well. When they are caught, they are given a "Gotcha! slip." At the end of the month, the classroom with the most slips gets rewards such as a pizza party.
